DGVCL Recruitment 2013 Online Application for Junior Assistant Posts:
Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL) invites online application from
eligible candidates to fill the Junior Assistant post. Few days back
DGVCL issued a recruitment notification regarding the vacant positions.
According to the notification there are around 290 positions are vacant.

Education Qualification:
Candidates who are interested in the Vidyut Sahayak post must possess Bachelors Degree in any discipline form a recognised university. The General/PH category candidates must possess 55% marks in their final degree and 50% for all others is necessary.
Age Limit:
General category applicant must not be more than 25 years of age on the 22nd September 2013. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category job seekers by following the reservation law.
Selection Process:
DGVCL selects the deserving candidates based on their performance in written test and interview. The written test will be conducted for 100 marks; among these 60% questions will be in the form of Objective type and the remaining in the descriptive type.
Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be appointed as a Junior Assistant at DGVCL; during the first year of appointment the employees will get consolidated remuneration of Rs.6500/- per month. Thereafter Rs.7250/- and Rs.8000/- per month will be given to the second and third years respectively.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General, PH and SEBC are needed to pay Rs.500/-, for all remaining category the exam fees is Rs.250/- only. This fees have to be paid by the candidate at any branch of State Bank of India favouring to the account "Power Jyoti, Acc No-33265984351" along with the bank charge of Rs.50/- only.

All applicants have to submit the applications online. After the online submission they have to take a printout of it, for sending as a hard copy. While sending this printed application, attested copies of necessary certificates, fee payment Challan and other documents have to be enclosed in an envelope.
