About Border Security Force :
BSF or
Border Security Force
serves the Government of India as its guarding force. All our boarders
are being governed by these force. To make our country boarder safe and
to prevent enemy attacks, Border security force plays a vital role. BSF
was established on December 1, 1965, it is one of the Central Armed
Police Forces. Like all Central Armed Police Forces of India, the BSF is
under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It is
one of the many law enforcement agencies of India.

Eligibility Criteria :
- Education : The
minimum qualification required here is metric ( 10th pass) or maximum
could be any but the applicant should be eligible for age as well.
- Age : The maximum age limit is being specified as 23 years. Relaxation in age in allowed as per rules.

Applying Procedure :
The
mode of application is offline, you can’t apply online through website.
In order to apply, the applicant must first download the full form from
the website
http://bsf.nic.in/en/recruitment.html and fill it with hand and send it to the address specified in the form.
Selection Procedure :
The applicants will be selected based on their physical fitness and
strength test. There’s a standard criteria of physiques on which a
candidate will be selected. Please be ready for heavy physical tasks
like weight lifting, racing etc.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : Those who qualify the height test will be subjected
to five kilometers race to be completed within 24 minutes.
Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who are found eligible on screening of
testimonials will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements.
Trade Test :- Only qualifying in nature. The candidates who qualify the PET will be put through the respective Trade Test.
Each candidate will be allowed to appear for one trade only as entered in the
application form.
and written test of 100 marks.
Admit card with
roll number and general instructions for appearing for the test/interview will
be issued 15 days prior to the date of test to the eligible candidates.
