Ofb.gov.in - Apply Online for 1578 Chargeman Jobs in Indian Ordnance Factories

Indian Ordnance Factories - Employment Newswww.ofb.gov.in - Indian Ordnance Factories (IOF) recently released employment notification inviting online applications for filling up 1578 Chargeman vacancies in Non-Gazetted Group-B cadre. Indian Arms Factories were setup in 1775 by the British Authorities with the name of Board of Ordnance to secure the interests of East India Company by supplying arms to Military. After independence it came under Indian Government as Ordnance Factories Board. Now Ordnance Factories Board consists of 41 Indian Ordnance Factories with a workforce of 1,50,000. Besides that it has 3 regional marketing centers and 9 training institutions. The main objective of Indian Ordnance Factories is to produce arms, ammunition and other military equipments to supply military needs. That is why it is also called 4th Arm of Defence.
