students for 24th UES Entry

After successful completion of training they will be absorbed – in Scale PB-3

Academic Qualifications: Candidates studying Pre – Final year
engineering degree in the above mentioned disciplines are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards: Height 157.5c.m. with co-related weight. 5
C.M. relaxation for north east states candidates.
Selection Process for 24th UES Entry Engineering for Grant
of Permanent Commission
Preliminary selection for the UES Entry Engineering will be made by a
selection team of Command HQ. Candidates are required to be under graduates
during the selection process and must be graduates at the time of commencement
of the course. The short list prepared by ADG Recruiting, Army HQ is forwarded for
SSB interview. The duration of SSB interviews is five days. The candidates have
to qualify Psychological Tests, Group Test and Interviews in the SSB stage. Candidates
who qualify at the SSB and medical test will be placed in order of merit. The
final selection will be made in the order up to the number of vacancies
available at that time. Pre-Final year students will be called in the year of
their completion of their degree, subject to their being medically fit at that
time depending on availability of vacancies and their position in the merit.
Selected Pre-Final year students would be granted Short Service Commission on
probation from the date of their joining in the final year classes. After successful
completion of degree course the candidates finally selected will be admitted for
Pre-Commission Training at India Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for a period
of 12 months.
